A true church is not just an organization though it must be organized and have structure. The Church holds a stronghold in society as a beacon for real hope and real change.
Is church important to God?
The gathering together of believers in Jesus is extremely important to the Lord and to the individual. Jesus gave his life for the church. The church is a priority to God. A church that follows Bible teaching will bring glory to God by training its members to reach out to others locally and globally.
How You Can Get Involved.
For those interested in joining our membership, our Discover Calvary class will introduce you to our pastor, staff, and deacons, answer any questions you may have, and go over our beliefs, membership details, and help you become integrated as an active member using your skills to glorify God. We can help you grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. You will find here an excellent place to develop healthy relationships and a place to serve with your talents and skills.
Joe Demarest
Meet Bro Joe.
Bro. Joe was saved at age 9 and raised in a Godly home. After graduating from Midwestern Baptist College in Pontiac, Michigan, Joe and his wife, Janice, served at the First Baptist Church of Milford, Ohio for many years. The Demarests joined Calvary Baptist on the first Sunday in June of 2012. They have two adult children, Matt the oldest, and Melody, who lives in Lakeland with her husband Phil. Joe loves music, desires to share the good news of the Gospel with others, and to disciple new believers into a life that will bring glory to God.
